Congratulations Baby Makers!

Hello Everybody!!

It's good to see new posts on the blog. We thought we had shown up too late back in November 2008 when we posted our first message. We want to send a belated congratulations to Katie, Rob, Jen and Brett. We were thrilled to hear your news and are looking forward to meeting the new ones in person very soon.

As for us, we have been improving the new house and traveling a bit. Here are some pictures from our recent trip to Turkey. We hope everybody is doing well and send our best wishes.

Parker David and Jack Charles

Sorry for the lack of participation on the blog - we have been kind of busy lately. I wanted to updated everyone on our additions so here it goes!!!

Parker David Connison was born on 2/25/2009 at 12:46pm weighing 6 lbs. 12 oz. Jack Charles Connison was born on 2/25/2009 at 12:47pm weighing 7 lbs. They are definitely big boys for 2 of them!!! They were screaming their lungs out as soon as they came out but definitely calmed down after they were cleaned up and placed next to each other in the OR. Jack had to go to the NICU for a few nights with some fluid in his lungs but we were happy to get him out of there and back to the room with us. Both boys passed their two week checkup with flying colors and are starting to gain weight and grow strong.

Jen was such a trooper throughout the whole pregnancy and I am in awe of her baby making skills. I couldn't be more proud of her and love that she grew our family this big!! She is recovering nicely and enjoying the boys sleeping a lot in the first couple weeks.

Owen has been an excellent big brother, he likes to pet the boys and give them kisses on their heads. I just know that they will all grow up to be best buds.

Thanks to everyone for all the well wishes, it has been great having the whole family ask about us and hope that everyone gets to visit Parker and Jack soon. We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful and supportive family. Also thanks to the grandparents for all their help, I don't think that we would have been able to do it without all of you. Super shout out goes to Pops - thanks for loaning GiGi to us for a while, she has been a tremendous help!!
